Hi all,

Does Windows save the commands issued from cmd.exe in registry/files? I
need to find out which commands were issues during a time period.

Many thanks.

No, it does not. Doskey records a number of previous commands -
press Arrow-up to see them.

The Start/Run facility also stores a number of commands.

Hi again,

Many thanks for your help.

What I understand from your answer is after closing command window it
is impossible to find out the commands issues before. Is it correct?

AFAIK this is correct. You can easily test it yourself:
- Create a batch file called mhmtzdmr.bat.
- Run it under a Command Prompt.
- Close the Command Prompt.
- Scan the registry for the string "mhmtzdmr".
