No matter how I try to start a Dos prompt it reboots
Windows 2000. Anyone had an idea why?

Thanks.

There's no such thing as command.exe

Alright, get technical on me. What I mean is that I type
command at the run window.

Sorry for the confusion.

What happens if you type
cmd.exe

Mostly clueless as to why that would happen. To be able to see the blue
screen stop message; Control Panel|System|Advanced|Startup and Recovery, I
usually like to uncheck "Automatically reboot" this way you get a chance to
read the stop error.

Thanks Dave,

Error comes up with:

Address ..... win32k.sys

Any ideas? Anyone?

Is it always the same error? Do you ever get blue screens for other
reasons? Has anything been done to the machine since you last had this
working?

Wow, if your machine is affected by 281132, you're not running W2KSP3,
meaning you're probably vulnerable to all the viruses out there... get up to
date with the patches...
