Command button transparency

Is it possible to change the level of transparency of a command button? I
would like to set some to about 50% transpasency so that both the button and
whatever is underneath can be seen.

No, but there is a transparent property to a command button. Check the
format tab of the property sheet.

Tried that, but need something ½ way between fully visible and not visible.

It can be done with a form but not an individual CommandButton without an
awful lot of work.

Normally I would Arvin. These "one night challenges" are my favourite by
far. But I'm still too busy/stressed with the new house to do any coding.
