I just bought my system 1mth ago p4 2.66, 768ram, nvidia 4 5200 graphics card, and an intergraded sound card running xp operating software. After playing online for awhile the system closes the game and go back to the desktop saying serious errors can be caused by many things including virused( i checked and don't have), overheated hardware, and hardware that doesn't meet min. specs. for the game. Below is a crash report I found in MY DOCS. under Command and conqer. Thank you for any help you can give. I tried dell and ea games and nothing

Hi Scott,

Normally I would have you check your RAM, Power Supply, AGP
settings, Hyperthreading etc., thinking that the error is being caused
by the hardware on your system.

After reading several other complaints about the same error, in a CnC
forum however, I have seen that this is an entirely different type of bug:

See for yourself at: http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/15623/
and feel free to participate in their forums, or use the EA email address there.

P.S.: There are some folks from the Online Crash Analysis team who have
started monitoring this NG recently. Check back on Monday in case
one of them asks you to send them an email with the full data dump.
Also, please let us know what they suggest if you email them the data.

Integrated sound? Uh oh...this is usually asking for trouble! Seriously!

While integrated sound *has* improved (to the point that INTEL now includes
it as part of their flagship 875P P4 AGPset), it is *still* a host-based
solution (it depends on procesor cycles stolen from the CPU), and driver
inefficiencies, overclocking the processor, and ring transition issues all
contribute to the inherent inefficiencies of integrated sound in gaming
(especially in modern games such as GENERALS).

I would seriously suggest saving yourself some pain and getting a Creative
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS, especially if you have 5.1 or better speakers.
Unlike the integrated sound on your motherboard, the ZS teams up the E-Mu
10K2A DSP (the A revision of the second-generation E-Mu professional DSP
used in recording studios worldwide) with the 24-bit Crystal (formerly
Cirrus Logic) audio DAC (Crystal has been around as long as Creative has,
and there is a reason for it; the products Just Plain Do What They Are
Supposed To) resulting in some of the best sound, in or out of games,
available. (Not bad at all, considering the OEM version can be had for $90
USD.)

What memory modules do you have installed - Changing my memory fixed an
