ComboBox error in A2000

Hi, asked this before but as of yet still no fix. Using my desktop
Access2002 I modified an Access2000 form to add a combo box pull down in the
Form Header. It works fine for me - but when I re-install onto desk top of
user with Access2000 it causes a Run Time Error. Anyone seen this?
 
I think if you open the DB on your user's desktop, open the VBA editor and go
to the references, remove the access 10 reference (will be identified as
missing) and select the access 9 reference, it might solve your problem. But
would not be practical if you have multiple users iwth individual
installation.
 
Thanks for the suggestion Peter-d. This is not something I've done before.
So if I understand you; I un-check the missing Access 10.0 Object library -
- and then I check the Access 9.0 Object library assuming it is there. Is
that correct?
 
That seems correct. But mind you, I'm no expert... was just in here trying to
get an asnwer to my own question, but saw yours and thought it was simple
enough.

Sounds reasonable enough but you need to do this on the problem PC.

The best way is to keep back-up copy and try. You can always revert back to
a back-up copy if something goes wrong.
