I'm using Access 2000. I have my detail records for my customers on a form
with many tabs and subforms. I want just the names of all of these customers
(scrollable list box would be nice) to always show up to the left of my form
along with some demographic information about the customer next to the list
box (this information would always be displayed). When I click on one of the
customers in the list box I want the detail information to be displayed on
all of the tabs for that customer. I also want to filter the list box with
other combo boxes (Active vs. Inactive; Male vs. Female; etc ...) I would
then be able to add or update their information. Can I do all of this with 1
form or 2 forms side by side? Any ideas?

Yes, that's exactly what I want to use, but how do I get the form header to
be on the left side and the form detail on the right side? I want the list
of customers to show up in a vertical list (not combo-box) along the left
side.
Barry,

Use the form header.

Barry,

I've never done this myself, but I believe either Steve Lebans
(www.lebans.com) or Allen Browne (http://allenbrowne.com/tips.html) has
material demonstrating this.

Hope that helps.
