Combo Box

I have a form/subform to assign event participants to a room. The form
records the room and event and some other information. The subform records
the event participants assigned to that room. The subform consists simply of
a combo box and its row source is set to an SQL statement that displays
those participants who have not been assigned to a room. The problem that I
am having is that when I open the form the form does not display the
individual assigned to a room. When I add an individual to a room the combo
box works properly and give me a list of those individuals who have not been
assigned a room yet. Can anyone help?

From your descriptions, I understood form does not display subform
accordingly. If I have misunderstood your concern, please feel free to
point it out.

Would you please send me a sample file, with which I could reproduce it on
my side? I understand the information may be sensitive to you, my direct

I would like to have a check to see whether this is a break/fix issue.
