Combo Box Wizard missing option?

When I use the combo box wizard on the first screen there are only two
options, "I want the combo box to look up...." and "I will type in the
values...."

The option, referred to in the help, "Find a record on my form based on the
value I selected in my combo box" does not appear. Can anyone tell me why?

I'm using 2003 professional.

You don't get that option unless the form the combo box is being added
to is bound to a table.
How will the combo know what record to find if there is no record
source available.
