Combo Box List Not Visible

The pull down menus in the combo boxes in a project are populated, however I
can not see my options. If I arrow down or click on something, the field
then populates from the list. It's like they are there but just invisible??
The box is populated via a query which if ran indepently runs fine (and it
appears all the items are there... just can't see them).

It is a public mdb created in 2000 that is used by many different users. I
have 2003 as does another user but I am the only one that seems to be having
this problem. Do I have some general option in Access not set up correct??

Have you employed service pack SP3 recently? the drop down Combo boxes does
not have any data in them? Is this what you mean?

If it is, there is an issue with Office SP3 and access 2k3, you can google
for the fix. download that and install.

The main reason that this happens is you have some format set in the table.
removing the format in the table works but if its a shared data base then you
wont want to do that.

Issues that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issues:
945280 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945280/ ) Combo box controls and
list box controls display no value or incorrect values in Access 2003 after
you install Office 2003 Service Pack 3

943967 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943967/ ) After you install Office
2003 SP3, you encounter various problems in an Access project when you work
with a Bit data type column in a linked SQL Server table

This hotfix package also fixes the following issues that were not previously
documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
Access 2003 may close unexpectedly when you do one of the following:
You open a table that contains a LOOKUP field. The table uses the LOOKUP
field to look up data in a table that contains more than 30 fields.
You open a form that contains a combo box that looks up data in a table that
contains more than 30 fields.

I hope I have understood your problem correctly and hope this helps???????
