Combo box error message

I am an unexperienced Access user, and am having a problem that I do not
understand. I have a series of combo boxes that are linked to buttons so
that when you select a record from the combo box and click the button, it
opens the selected record. So far, all of them have worked exactly as they
are supposed to, but now I have one pesky record that continues to show the
error message,

¨There is no file named Bus Number in the current record¨

I have tried everything to correct it and cannot figure out why I am getting
this message when there IS a file with that name. I have set this up exactly
like all of the others, the only difference that I can think of is that I
have used the field ¨Bus Number¨ on other forms for searches as well.

Anyone have any ideas on what is causing this issue or how to fix it?
Thanks!

Bit hard to diagnose with the information provided. An obvious question is
the space in the name Bus Number. Whatever you are doing you might need to
put the name in square brackets, or inverted commas.

Can you post the code for the button that causes the error. If you are using
the combo box in a query to populate another form or report, can you open the
query when the record is selected in the combo box?
