I seem to have a problem combining 2 contiguous pictures in the Timeline or
Storybook. Does anyone have the secret to doing this? I used help, but help
gave directions I followed but I could not get the combine feature to
highlight.

The freeware Irfanview can combine the two
into one (horizontally or vertically)...and then
you can import the new combined version into
moviemaker.

Download IrfanView
http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.html
(get the plug-ins too)

Open IrfanView and go to...Image / Create
Panorama Image...you will see a screen that
allows you to choose the pictures. When you
have you panorama created...just go to....File /
Save As and you can save the file as a new
picture (be sure to give it a new name so it
doesn't overwrite anything.)

If these are a series of overlapping images...
MS Digital Image Suite has a Panorama
tool that will stitch them together as a
continuous single image.

Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006
is a downloadable 60 day trial version with
much of the functionality of MS Digital Image
Suite 2006.

Once your 60 day trial period has ended, the
program will de-feature to minimal functionality.

Unlike the retail version...the trial does not
have the ability to create VCDs and does
not support RAW files.

Be aware that it's a 109 MB download....

If you are referring to Video clips....
the previous info does not apply.
