Combining to Fax from WordXP

The modem/fax that I have installed work fine, but wen I combining documents
to fax in WordXP the icon is disabled. The inside help explain that with
Microsoft Fax or a MAPI application it is possible. But, I can install from
W98 CD the Microsoft Fax over WindowsXP? or I need other compatible and
newer programs (wich?)

Well, I like combining a letter with database fields in WordXP, and I like
sending by fax and not by email.
The letters have personal information and I like sending to corresponding
fax, like combining to email but their sending to fax.
In the toolbar of WordXP - Combining letters... there are a icon that is
disabled and the short information of mouse is Combining to fax. How I can
enabled this icon?

Please explain what you're doing.
The only way to fax multiple attachments with Windows XP Fax is to fax from
Outlook.
