Combining Message info From 2 Contact Records

Is it possible to combine the message (notes) info from
two copies of the same contact record stored in different
folders? In other words, contact A is stored in both a
public folder and a private folder, and I want to merge
the private folder contact info, including messages text,
into the contact record in the public folder. This is
something I'd like to do for several hundred induvidual
contact records. This is Outlook 2k. Thanks

One method is to get the items all in one folder, then use one of the
duplicate tools listed at http://www.slipstick.com/addins/contacts.htm
