Combining dupicate rows of a data base

Help

I have 3 large files that may have duplicate customer
names address, etc.. How do I combine them into 1 list
that shows if they were contacted 1st qtr, 2nd qtr, 3rd
qtr, or all three?

A would apprieciate any help I can get.

Hi Mike
one way:
- add to each worksheet an additional column and isert the quarter in
this column
- copy all data in one sheets below each other (all would contain this
additional column)
- now use a pivot table to create a report for this combines data. Use
the quarter column as data item and show the count of this item:
