I am looking for a program that would help me combine a number of
files all into one. For example I have 27 files numbered from
Mick1.doc to Mick27.doc. Instead of having all 27 files, I would
just like to make one file named Mick.doc. I really do not want to
open every file and do a cut and paste to the new file I am making.
Is there a program available that could grab all 27 files and command
them to be merged into one file? I have a program that does multiple
rename, where I mark all the files and command them to be renamed a
certain way. Works beautifully.

All help and input appreciated
Mick

format matters, .doc may be any of 666 dozen wp files

if format doesn't matter
dos
copy /b a+b+c d

if they are for e.g. MSword documents
create new empty document
select and drag docs from explorer and drop on word display area
'copy here as content'

in Word, just clik on mnu/Insert/file
ssome
