Combine Presentations, but keep separate backgrounds?

Is there a way to combine 3 separate PowerPoint presentations with 3
different types of backgrounds into one PowerPoint presentation, whereby
all 3 backgrounds are visible? We are using Powerpoint 2000 (SP3), thanks.

Multiple templates weren't introduced until PowerPoint 2002. However, there
