combine midi files

I have downloaded a zip file from mutopiaproject.org that is a symphony,
when I open the file it has each instrument as a separate file, ie. cello-
1.mid, cello-2.mid, etc. Does anyone know of a program that will allow me
to combine all these different midi's into one midi file so I can play it
as a whole instead of each individual part?

I guess I need a program that will allow me to import each midi file as a
separate track, not one that adds a midi file to the end of another midi
file.

In MIDI-speak it's called a "sequencer". There's loads out there and it's
all a matter of personal taste. Have a look here for a starter:

and pick a few sequencers.

Have fun
