I want to combine cells d3,e3 & f3 and set wraptext to true, so that a long
value put in d3 will wrap within the three cells.
How can I do that?

You can select d3:f3 and set the horizonatal alignment as cetner acros
selction, and the wrap tex

You could enter a whack of text in D3 then enable wrap text.

Now select D3:F3 and "center across selection"

OR(and I hate to mention this) merge D3:F3 into one cell.

Merged cells cause many problems when it comes to copying, pasting, sorting
and other stuff.

After you select D3:F3,
Click Format > Cells > Alignment tab
Under Text Alignment:
click on the droplist for "Horizontal"
Select 'Centre across selection"
(at bottom of the droplist)
Click OK
