columns reversed on worksheet

I opened a new worksheet and the columns are reversed
(right to left) meaning the "A" column is on the right
side and increments up (B, C and so on) toward the left
side.

I suspect this is an option that has been inadvertently
checked but I cannot see where to change back to "normal."

Can anyone help?
 
Tools>options>international and make sure default direction is left to right
