Columns of Records

Each record in my report is about 2" x 2" and contains a
thumbnail picture.
When I print the report, the records are displayed ina
single vertical column, wasting the right hand side of
each page.
How can I set the layout so that Record 1 is on the left
of the page, Record 2 is on the right side of the page,
Record 3 is below Record 1 on the left, etcetera?

In Report Design View...
File + Page SetUp + Columns
Set the column number to 2
If the Report width property is the size of one column or smaller, set
the Column Size to 'Same as Detail'. It the Report width is greater than
the wanted column width, uncheck the 'Same as Detail'box and enter the
wanted column width.
Set the Column Layout to Across then Down.

Run the report.

Thanks for the help. I followed your instructions
carefully, but have still not been able to get the
columns working.
Is there another setting somewhere that has to be
specified?
