I have Outlook 2002. When I compose a new message, the formatting is hard to read by the recipient because my text goes right across the text body. I have noticed that emails I receive from other people are narrower columns which are easier to read
How do I create narrower paragraphs on new messages? And how do I create narrower paragraphs when I reply to an email I have received? I was given the answer below by someone else, but when I followed her instructions, even after rebooting and making sure I had applied the new settings the column widths are the same on both new emails and replies. Here are the instructions I was given
Assuming these are plain text formatted messages: Go to Tools | Options
Mail Format | Internet Format -- the setting is in the "Plain Text" sectio
("Automatically wrap text at X characters"). The default is 76 characters
