D Dave Peterson Sep 17, 2003 #2 You can change them to letters or numbers or hide them, but you can't change them to words. Maybe you could hide them (Tools|options|view tab|uncheck Row & column headers) and make your own. But I just show the regular headers and put my headers in row 1. Most people who use excel expect to see things like this.
