Column Headers: Numbers instead of letters

Not quite sure what happened but now the column headers
display as numbers instead of letters and all the formulas
are changed to show formulas in this style=+R6C*RC[1]
instead of referencing letter/number cell references.

Tools/Options/General. Uncheck the R1C1 References checkbox.
