S stumac Apr 2, 2010 #2 Which version of Excel are you using? In 2007 go to the office button and down to Excel Options, in the formula tab unselect the checkbox labeled R1C1 reference style. I am sure the same checkbox exists in earlier versions under Tools, Options in the menu bar. Hth Stu
