column copy

Hi
I have 63 files and need to copy same coloumn of all files (column X) to a
new file (rain.xls). in fact, i need to a macro, when open any file and run
macro on worksheet, then copy of column X send to new file(rain.xls)
respectively.
Finally, new file (rain.xls) consist of 63 column in sheet1.

Different ways.
You could use a macro using DIR to either make a list or to open each
file>copy>paste to next column in destination file>close... Or, make a
formula as the top row of each column in the destination folder and copy
down to the anticipated last row>change to values..
