K Kenny Dec 16, 2003 #2 Check that the monitor cable is securely connected at both ends. Most likely a fault in the monitor causing the red gun in the CRT to be cut off. May be as simple as a dry solder joint or as serious as a faulty CRT. Take it to a good TV engineer. Kenny
