is it possible to change the colour of a Tab Ctrl form in
Access 2003

You cannot change the background color of the tab control in any version of
Access.

In previous versions, you could set the tab's BackStyle to Transparent, and
the color of the form's Detail section would show through. That is broken in
A2003 on Windows XP. You can work around that by setting:
Tools | Options | Forms/reports | Use Windows Themed Controls
or by choosing the Classic theme in Windows XP.

If you were trying to color the tabs at the top of the control for each
page, you will find a solution at:
