Colour Laser Multifunction Recommendations Sought

In the market for a laser multifunction - scan, fax, colour print,
card reader

Getting tired of reading...

Cost - hopefully < $ 600
Smaller physical size if possible, dark colour a bonus...

Doesn't have to have "the defacto best" print quality, but would like
reasonable toner costs
and decent output

This is for a business application for printing out invoices mainly,
so it has to work reliably

any recommendations ?
