I bought a used computer and the colours aren't right, I thought it was the
monitor going so I hooked it up to another one and the same problem. Reds are
almost nonexesistant, green is yellow. It has a geforce 5700le 128 mb memory
card could that be problem? I've tried to fix the colour but to no avail.
Please someone help. Thanks

By changing the monitor (and connecting cables also) you have ruled out a
defective monitor. The only thing left is the video card. Look for a bent
over pin or a missing pin. Then get a new video card - if needed.

Right click on the desktop, pick Properties, and the Display
Properties applet appears (you can also get to it in the Control
Panel). Under Settings -> Advanced, is there a tab for color
management? Maybe you have to reset to the defaults. I don't know
what extra software was added for your GeForce card (been using ATI
for years).

Have you tried downloading and installing the latest non-beta video
driver?
