I'd like to take and add some color to the file names on my desktop, likepostit notes. ie: Red named files = urgent or check daily. Other colors maybe for what they're related to ie: games = blue, art = green, etc...
What I have now, is the desktop icons take the icon of whatever program created them. and the title text is all the same. I have maybe 7 postit text notes now on the desktop, but without selecting each one, there's noway to tell one from the other.

There are some aps for changing Icon's name font color - but you risk
getting in trouble. Download or make some convenient icons and assign those
icons to shortcut to your PostIt notes - use Shortcut Properties/Change
Icon.

The icon itself is fine, I figure I'll be using the text editor to make the notes anyway's and it'll create the icon based on the text editor. Just want a way to make each note stand out, and a different color text would make it.

Used to be able to type ^P[0-255] then the text for colorized text, but windows interprets that just as is. ^P[0-255]name of file.
