color scheme

Hello

I am having something very weird happening to my excel documents. I will be working along on a document and suddenly, my color scheme will change. It's very odd. It'll stay that way for awhile and eventually change back. I tried resetting the color scheme, but it doesn't work. Am I hitting a button that causes this to happen? Or maybe it's just the software that needs to be reloaded? I'm hoping for the first scenario so I can just learn how to change it back. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
