Is there anything that will do this??????

Say I have an airplane that is two colors and one of the colors is blue and
the other is white. Say I want to change the blue to red anywhere it
appears on the picture with one click changing *all* of them.

To re-state the problem. I want to pick up a single pixel that is blue and
change it and any other pixel on the entire page that color to another color
with one click. I would assume there would be a + or - to allow for color
variations do to light variations. I don't mean a "fill color", that
doesn't go beyond color boarders, I want them all.

IE: I want to see what a red plane would look like, that is now basically
blue.

The GIMP can do this: see menu Filters > Colors > Map > Colors
Exchange.

Yeah, me too, PhotoImpact 8. There is one place in their 200+ page manual
that alludes to that but they don't tell you how to do it. Email them? Ha.
Long story short. You can't get in!!

I do have Irfanview. Didn't know it would . Will look at it.

Thanks guys.

Had to look it up. ;) Generic Interface Multitasking Protocol. Do I have
such an animal?

Assume you mean start menu? Is it on XP pro? Maybe I'm missing something??

I tried it. I couldn't select one color and exchange it for another color.
It just arbitrarily changed the structures of all colors for me. Maybe I'm
missing something?

Wow wow! You're missing something :-)

The GIMP ("GNU Image Manipulation Program") is an open source
graphics editor, you could call it "PhotoShop for the non-
spender". I can warmly recommend it, it has all the graphics
editing features needed for amateurs and semi-pros, and it's
constantly improving.

Installers are available on this address:

http://www2.arnes.si/~sopjsimo/gimp/stable.html

First install the GTK+ environment, then install The GIMP.

For more info, documentation, tutorials, see http://gimp.org/

Have fun,

Oky doky. I'm still missing something.

Downloaded the 2.4.9 version and it seemed to load normal into
programs,common,etc.

Downloaded the help file version 0.3 with no problem. Went to install it
and it said I had to have GKT version 2.0 or higher. Well I got 2.4.9 so I
thought I could without the help anyway and tried to run the 2.4.9.

It added no shortcut anywhere so I went to it's directories. There are a
whole bunch of DLL's but only 2 applications listed. Neither start
anything. I not only missed the boat, I'm out of it and drowning.

OK, I assumed again. Figured 2.4.9 was later than 2.0.5. I know have the
whole thing.

Thanks. Assuming it works, that is. <g> You know me and assuming!!

Try PhotoFiltre http://www.photofiltre.com/

On menu: Adjust Replace Color
Set tolerance

All I could get it to do is change a little spot. I even boxed off a
section and it changed a couple pixels inside the square. I must have
omitted some procedure although I have no idea what it was. Thanks anyway,
I still have it loaded and will experiment with it more.

PhotoFiltre by Alice's recommendation found every blue in the whole picture
and with tolerance allowances and a little experimenting, I got good
coverage.
