And I was just looking for one!
Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP 62Kb
Thanks, My Name.
I forgot to add...
"...it will tell you the hex, RGB, HTML, CMYK and HSV
values..."
YW Boomer, I just noticed that this is a newer version of a
proggie I already have. I guess I hadn't used it because it
requires installation. If you install it and think it's
wortrhwhile wouldya give a shout out.
What's unusual about Pixie is that it gives the CMYK values. There areIt's fine. Unzipped 9kb .exe, 48kb uninstall diz and txt files (1kb
each) and a 21kb chm file. I had one I liked better. I'll have to
check the archives. But Pixie is good for its size.
(e-mail address removed) says...
What's unusual about Pixie is that it gives the CMYK
values. There are lots of other colour pickers about, but
very few indeed which do that.

Install is harmless and not necessary. Just copy program
folder after install and uninstall it. Be careful with the
magnifier option... it drained my sys resources 50% (saw it
with Quick Resource). Spacey
Yes, I am familiar with this methodology.
It is just that the whatever an installer is going to do still
gets done by running the installer.
It'd be nice if programs
that don't require an install provided a compressed version for
download, K-meleon for instance. Odd that the beta was zipped,
and the release is an installer. Also, it crashes repeatedly on
trying to configure preferences. Maybe an update to 8 won't have
this crashing problem. Until then, it is 7 for me. Yes I know I
digressed.

There is also: MouseZoom
http://www.neuber.com/free/mousezoom/index.html
It zooms the current mouse position (50x) and shows the
color value (RGB, HEX, HLS, CMYK) and the absolute and
relative position of the point where the mouse is.
doesn't require runtimes
doesn't require installation
doesn't write to the registry
doesn't modify files outside of its own directories
The only thing is: you must get an unlock code.
You must answer 2 questions after having looked at 2
screenshots on their website of their other programs.
Does not require an e-mail address.
Have you tried ColorCop?
It is my favorite, and i have tried them all.
