I am using a new Compaq desktop computer that I have upgraded to SP2. I did
not notice my problem before SP2 because I only used it sparingly before
install SP2.

My question is, How can I get Internet Explorer and Outlook Express to
display links that have been clicked on to show a different color? I think
there is a setting selection for this but I can't find it.
I have always been used to having links change colors in my previous
computer but this one does not.

Thanks,
John

Hi,
Check the settings in Internet Options> General> Colors.

Or... this problem often indicates corruption in the History folder. Delete
the History folder according to the instructions at
How To Delete the Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Hope this helps,
Don

Thanks for your reply.
I have checked the settings in Internet Options> General> Colors, and they
are set as I would have expected they should be.

I am the only user of this computer and the administrator.
I went to http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm and attempted to delete
the History and received the message:
"History is a windows system folder and is required for windows to operate
properly. It cannot be deleted."

Any other ideas?
Thanks,
John
