Color of page numbers

I took the background out of my slides, but the page numbers were white and
now I cannot see them with my white background. I have them turned on, but I
can't figure out how to change them to black.

Also, the slide master only goes up to 12 and these are on slides 41-46, I
have no idea who did that, but the slide master is essentially useless.

Click on view > Master > Slide Master.
Select the Footer Area and set it to black color. Close master view.

Can you elaborate more regarding the slide numbers? What happens on slide 13
and above? Does the slide number shows on these slides? Or does the rest of
the slides (13 and above) are all shown as '12'?

I just figured it out. Apparently the slides 1-12 in the master view were
representational of the 12 styles in the 56 slide powerpoint deck. So i just
formatted the font in one of the master slides and they appeared.

Thanks for your help though
