Color of Icon Text

Is it possible to change the color of the text below an icon? I can change the font size...but not color. Thanks.

Start/Settings/Control Panel
Display/Apperance tab/ Advanced/
Desktop (under Item), and change that color.

That effects the colors below the icon.

I've followed your instructions, and find the "Desktop" color itself is
changed...not the Icon text. I scrolled down to "Selected Items", and that
seemed to change the
background color of the icon's text box (under the icon)...not the text, or
font,
color. That may help, but I guess it is impossible to change the text (font)
color itself. Really appreciate your help. Ed
