Are there any decent inexpensive color calibration programs out there for
the Small Office / Home office user ?

I'm not looking to spend thousands or even hundreds to get professional
quality pantone-grade color matching - I just want my Canon BJC-80 printer,
Philips 107S monitor, and Canon IS-12 scanner to all look REASONABLY close
to each other.

Any suggestions ?

I've had good luck with it. A lot depends upon your monitor's abilities,
your video card's abilities, and your printer's abilities.

My older monitor just didn't have the oomph (brightness) to calibrate well;
an older video card didn't support the hardware/software controlled Digiramp
(?); and the printer's gamut and profiles will determine what finally comes
out.

My current setup includes a Hitachi CM772 monitor, an ATI Rage 128-based
video card, and a Canon i950 printer. There is still some discrepancy in the
blue, but overall I get as close as a typical photo processor does.

Before I got the Hitachi, most artwork generated on Mac's was a dark
obscurity to me.
