I set up a Word form with a table and fill-in fields, protected for forms
and saved it as a template. I emailed the template document to respondents
expecting them to fill out the new Word document generated from the template
and send it back to me... I though it was a good idea at the time.

Now I have several responses with the filled out Word documents as
attachments. Is there any way to get the form response data into a table
all at once?

The only way I can get at the data so far is to
- Save each attachment to a folder from Outlook
- Open the saved files
- Set to save only form data for each file from Tools | Options
- Save each file in text format
- Combine the contents of the bunch of text files using the copy command
from a command window

Hi Sriram,

You'd need to use Word automation to extract the data. For example, save all
the attachments into the same folder. Then use a macro in Word to open each in
turn, go through the form fields and write the data to... an Excel table? An
Access database?
