i have a form that sometimes people enter chars such as Á
or É.

i have a find and replace to change these to say chr(69)
or E, but it never takes place.

if i set it to change from F to E, it works fine, it's
just with intl. chars. they turn in scrambled chars
like "A?^"

any ideas?

It's all part of the Encoding and the Charset you use in your .htm(l).

How to Use Special Characters in Windows Documents
This article describes how to use special characters that are available
through the Character Map, and how to manually type the Unicode number to
insert a special character into a document. You can do this to add special
characters to your documents such as a trademark or degree symbol.
