Not that I am really going to download it (don't have a
network myself), but it looks interesting...a coffee manager
from a UK Coffee company, I wonder how useful it is for people
who actually work in the office:

"The Coffee Manager

Are you always the one who's stuck getting coffee for your
colleagues? How does Keith in accounts take his coffee again?
You're going to get a coffee, but is there anyone else who
wants one too? The Coffee Manager is the answer!

The Coffee Manager is a small application for your work
computer, which asks everyone in the office if they would like
a coffee, then gathers all the drinks requests and selects a
person to make the trip to the coffee machine! The Coffee
Manager can also present you with a graphic display of
statistics to chart the drinking habits and rituals of your
team.

Last year I read about it in a magazine. Apparently it contains spyware.

With a name like Douwe Egberts the company is not from the UK but from the
Netherlands.

Too, bad, what an interesting idea, though - just a database
for coffee. Really too bad.

It doesn't sound like a complicated program to begin with. The program I'm
thinking of would have to be installed on every computer and would need to
be running in the background and would also need the IP address of every
computer in the office. I'm sure there's an easier solution than this but
I'm only an AS computing student. I'd have to do it in VB so it wouldn't
port to other OS's, but I'm fairly confident that it would be smaller than
1.5mb.
