codexs do i need it!

i have wmp11 it will open up 95% of video's and play but not the rest.is it a
windows problem ordo i need to get codexs, and which do you recommend.

You need codecs (COder-DECoder) for (almost?) all audio and video file
formats in order to read (and where applicable: write) them. You appear to
have the ones you need most.

It is a matter of flexibility rather than a problem.
