Codecs for being able to use MP3s?

Are there codecs for being able to use MP3s in Movie Maker 2 for XP... Cause
I remember downloading something last time I re-did my computer and it made
it so I could use MP3s!

Even if you manage to import the .mp3
files...they can still cause problems when
the project is rendered.

Best bet would be to convert the .mp3
files to .wma or .wav before importing.
