Codecs and Windows Movie Maker

I am trying to import music downloaded from itunes into a video. The error
message reads that I do not have the correct codec on my computer. I am
running Windows Vista and can't seem to locate a codec that is recommended to
work with Vista. Any suggestions? This worked perfectly in XP and I am
again regretting upgrading to Vista...
 
have you found anything that is compatible with vista yet. I am having the
exact same problem. Very frustrating and I also am regretting this upgrade.
