i was wondering how do i download new codec for windows movie maker?

The codec downloading is automatic if you are connected to the internet when
a codec is needed. You can also download the full pack of Windows Media 9
codecs if you want (see the Setup > Software page of my site for a link).
But it'll only get codecs that are available from Microsoft... if you need
something like an MPEG2 or Divx one, you'll need to get it from someplace
else.....
Do you have a specific codec you need?
