What kind of Codec is used in that AVI file. Try installing that MMC
driver tool thingy that you can download from the Ati website. Since I
geuss that the avi file is done through a codec!

Hi:

Go to this site.

http://codeccorner.com/start.html

You can run their CODEC tests and they will tell you which of the more
common ones you have on your sysem, which ones may be missing and
where to get them.

Happy trails,

Happy trails,

I looked at the site, and could find no such test. Please provide more details.
Thanks,

Hi:

Go to the site.
Click AVI
On the AVI Testing Ground page, click on any AVI CODEC variant listed.
The second column from the right has some tests for CODECs on your
system.
The rightmost column has links to get the ones you are missing.

While there you can also test for Mpg, DivX/XVID, MOV/QT, DVD/Vcd and
sound CODECs etc too.

BTW, the VIV Vivo CODEC test and sources are found by clicking on
"Others".

Happy trails,
