Codec 55

whenever i try to play a song in windows media player, it
says i don´t have the codec 55 .
what do i need to do to fix it? i tried downloading the
latest version
 
Hi, Your MP3 decoder is broken. Find "l3codeca.acm" on your system and
rename it to "l3codeca.bak" Now goto WMP and Help>>Check for Updates.
