I would like to play a movie in my presentation that is .flv format. It plays
with RealPlayer. I figured out how to assign the action to a picture so that
when I click on the picture the file will play (using Action Settings - Run
Program), but it first displays a window with a warning about viruses asking
if I want to open the file. Is there a way to code for lowering the security
setting to play the video, and then raising it again after the video plays?
How do I write code for playing the video in VBA? Thanks.

Easiest option would be to convert the .flv to a .wmv, which PowerPoint
plays using the MS media player. You can use an online video conversion such
as www.zamzar.com (or just search for 'online flv converter' for lots of
options). Then use the INSERT >> MOVIE >> FROM FILE option in PowerPoint.
