Hi all
my code text keeps going red while I am typing. Is VB trying to tell me
something? It happens during the most simple code and accepts it when I have
finished a line very strange. Have I switched something off or on?
 
When the code turns red, it means that the line isn't recognized as proper
code. This will happen if you don't finish typing a line before leaving it.
I've also seen it happen if something else causes an interruption in your
typing, making it appear that you have momentarily left your typing. As you
start typing again, the red goes away until the interruption occurs again.
This interruption is usually a timer event running on an open form.

Brilliant. This has only been bugging me for 6 months. I had read everything
without success. cheers!
