after upgrading from ME to XP Home Edition, I cannot get
the audio to work. I have loaded and reloaded the correct
driver(signed) and I keep getting a yellow exclamation
sign on my CMI8738 audio. When I go to the properties
page, it says that windows cannot load the drivers for
this device because it has a problem but doesn't identify
the problem except to say that it is a "code 39" problem.
I have uninstalled the audio (it is built into the
motherboard and I also disabled it in the BIOS) and
installed a new ESS Solo1 card and I get the exact same
results with the exact same error message.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

P.S. The motherboard is a ECS SiS-630-P6STP-FL
