Hi can anyone help me when i start call of duty 4 multiplayer this message appears iw3mp.exe has stopped working(a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.windows wll close the program and notify you if a solution is available)

I went ti check what the problem is but i do not understand it if anyone understands this can you please tell me what should i do.

Faulting application iw3mp.exe, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x476733c5, faulting module iw3mp.exe, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x476733c5, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0027743b, process id 0x464, application start time 0x01c859aa3b0ce78b.

Try uninstalling it and reinstalling. If you have a high rank save your profile before doing that.

If the problem still persists, could be your profile is corrupted in which case uninstall/reinstall again but don't use your old profile.

You haven't got Realtek onboard audio by any chance have you?

The reason for the Cod problem is it's being over fished & has been for years.:p
Sorry, but would love just one day to help someone on a game problem.

Yes i have realtek and i updated with the latest drivers, but the same thing appears it's strange because my single player works 100% but the multiplayer doesn't start it says that just a problem caused it but it doesn't tell you what problem i tried everything i updated my wholw computer with th latest drivers, reinstalled the game 2 times but still the same can it be something that i have vista but i installed the latest cod4 patch and that should fix all the problems but i still have the same problem

I Enabled the stereo mix and it sterted working
